Geek, lifehacker, science enthusiast – and I still have friends! Quiescently grewing up in the former GDR, some day, my parents found out that I am interested in numbers. They made me attend computer working groups regularly. From 2001- 2007, I studied computational biology in Jena, writing my diploma thesis at Peter Stadlers group in Leipzig. I now work as a Phd student at the IZBI, which is part of the University of Leipzig.
